Meetoto

My sister was on this site called Meetoto last night. I guess it’s something like Habbo, but this one is slightly different because it has K-Rooms!

How it works is that basically you just enter any of the available K-Rooms, join the queue and when it’s your turn, you get to go up the stage to sing for everyone else in the room who will then give comments while you’re singing.

I decided to join in the fun too.

The only thing you need is a microphone. The site also offers webcam capabilities so that you get to show your face while you’re singing! However, I won’t advice you to do that unless you sound really good. Like I said, people like me will be giving a lot of comments.

It’s five minutes per turn so you have to bear with the horrible singings for a full five minutes or until the current singer decides to leave the stage.

So in the meantime, you just give a lot of comments in order to pass time. The players are mostly from Malaysia or China so you get to hear them talking in the funny accents – which was really funny. I was practically laughing the whole time I was on the site.

My nickname was Jawker on the site and when one guy which sounded really girly came on the stage, the whole room – including me and my sister – was scolding him. He said in Chinese – Drawer, don’t keep scolding me leh. That guy pronounced my nickname as Drawer!

That’s why I said I was laughing all the time when I was there. There were about 19 people in the room last night and everyone who sang suck. Don’t expect to hear good singers on the site. I had fun scolding them too!

I wasn’t there to sing actually. I was just there to hear people make a fool out of themselves and insult them. There’s also a voting system where you can vote for the person after hearing them sing. There’s no such things as a bad vote because every vote you get gives you points.

A good vote will give you higher points. The poorest vote still give you two points so this site has done well in trying not to make people feel so bad. No such thing as zero or negative points. There were also emoticons for you to play with.

As usual, I was throwing human waste in the room whenever someone sang. If you want to be like Kris Allen, go up the stage and sing for the room! Or you can just sit there and be like Simon Cowell and start judging people!
